YOUNG PEOPLE CONNECTED WITH NATURE AND EXPERIENCED ECOLOGICAL LIVING FIRSTHAND

As part of the events organized following the Muğla Governorship’s declaration of 2026 as the "Muğla Year of Youth," we conducted our "Living with Nature Academy – Youth and Ecology Program" in collaboration with the Muğla Governorship.

During the program held at our Armutçuk Organic Farm, 20 young women learned about medicinal and aromatic plants in their natural habitat, performed hands-on lavender harvesting, experienced the lavender distillation process, and prepared natural sleep sprays and beeswax candles. Throughout the day, they had the opportunity to gain firsthand insight into ecological production processes through practical training sessions and workshops.

Our program was attended by Muğla Deputy Governor Mr. Hüseyin Karameşe, Muğla Governorship "Open Door" Branch Manager Zeynep Karasu Akça, our Chairperson of the Board Özlem Uzman, Board Member Dr. Naki Bulut, and Board of Trustees Member Attorney Evrim Çağlayan.

We deeply value the importance the Muğla Governorship places on young people and hope that this meaningful collaboration will continue to grow stronger through new projects aimed at youth.
