ANOTHER ONE ADDED TO EGET’S INTERNATIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS

EGET Memecik Extra Virgin Olive Oil, produced by the EGET Foundation’s Commercial Enterprise, was awarded a Silver Medal at the OLIVE JAPAN 2026 International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition, one of the world’s most prestigious olive oil contests.

With this award, the total number of medals EGET has won in international competitions has reached six. To date, EGET has secured four international medals at OLIVE JAPAN and two at the London International Olive Oil Competition.

A total of 801 samples from 29 countries participated in the 15th edition of OLIVE JAPAN. This achievement not only highlights Muğla’s name once again on international olive oil platforms but also boosts the visibility of the city’s olive-growing culture and local values.

The EGET Foundation’s Commercial Enterprise operates to generate funds for the EGET Foundation’s scholarship program and to ensure the sustainability of the Foundation’s activities. Proceeds from EGET products are allocated to the scholarship fund.
