MUĞLA'S OLIVE OIL WON A MEDAL IN ITALY

EGET Harman olive oil, produced from olives grown in the Yaraş neighborhood of Muğla, won a silver medal at the EVO IOOC Italy, one of the world's most prestigious quality competitions. The EGET Foundation donates all proceeds to provide scholarships for low-income students, bringing the total number of national and international awards to eight.

Muğla's olive oil has once again made a name for itself on the international stage. EGET Harman olive oil, produced from Memecik and Gemlik olives grown in the Yaraş neighborhood by the Education Geriatric Ecological Agriculture Tourism Foundation (EGET Foundation), won a silver medal at the EVO IOOC Italy International Olive Oil Quality Competition, considered one of the world's most prestigious olive oil quality competitions.

With this achievement, EGET olive oils have reached a total of eight awards, one national and seven international, once again proving their consistent quality.

Award-Winning Olive Oils Transform into Education

The EGET Foundation stands out not only for its high-quality olive oil production but also for its commitment to social responsibility. The foundation donates all income from olive oil and other ecological products to provide scholarships to students struggling to continue their education.

Following the award in Italy, EGET Chairman Özlem Uzman stated that the greatest motivation for their success is the students, saying, “EGET's entire effort is for the students. The true meaning of these awards will become apparent when more young people we support graduate. We believe that a modern country can only be built through good education.”

Muğla's Olives Certified World Quality

EGET Harman olive oil is produced using precise production techniques from Memecik and Gemlik olives grown in the Yaraş neighborhood of Muğla. The silver medal won in a blind tasting competition demonstrated that the product meets international quality standards.

Officials emphasized that this achievement is significant not only for EGET but also for demonstrating the suitability of Muğla olives for producing high-quality olive oil worldwide.

Eight Award-Winning Success

EGET olive oils have solidified their international success with awards received from Japan, London, Muğla, and most recently, Italy. With this latest silver medal, the number of awards has risen to eight, and the foundation aims to reach even more students by converting all proceeds into educational scholarships.
