EGET, which operates with the understanding of "From nature to you, from you to education" and transfers all its income as scholarships to young people at risk of dropping out of education, continues to add new successes to its achievements in agricultural production.
The institution's successes with both its olive oil and its geographically protected Ula garlic have attracted attention.
EGET's Memecik olive oil won a silver medal at the 2026 Olive Oil competition, considered one of the most prestigious competitions in Asia and among the world's leading olive oil organizations. Thus, EGET olive oils have once again confirmed their success in the international arena, following 4 awards from Japan, 2 from London, and 1 from Muğla.
EGET achieved another success with Ula garlic, one of Muğla's geographically protected products. Ula Garlic, harvested for the first time at the company's farm in the Armutçuk region using ecological production methods—one of its areas of expertise—was awarded first prize in the competition held as part of the Ula Garlic Festival.
EGET Chairman of the Board Özlem Uzman, in her statement regarding the achievements, stated that the work, which began with lavender production and raw materials obtained from lavender, has now reached a point where it is considered an example in healthy and sustainable agriculture and industrial products. Uzman stated that they have brought the Efilyun and EGETTEN brands to the country and expressed her satisfaction that EGET olive oils, representing Muğla's historical olive and olive oil culture, are appreciated in different parts of the world.
