The Education, Geriatrics, Ecological Agriculture, and Tourism Foundation (EGET Foundation), which donates all its income to low-income university students as scholarships, has added another success to its achievements in ecological production.
EGET Harman, produced from Memecik and Gemlik olives grown in Yaraş neighborhood, won a silver medal at the EVO IOOC Italy International Olive Oil Quality Competition, considered one of the world's most prestigious olive oil competitions.
With this success, EGET olive oils have reached a total of eight awards, one national and seven international.
Muğla Olive Oil Receives Quality Certification in Italy
EGET Harman is produced using Memecik and Gemlik olives grown in the olive groves of Yaraş neighborhood, owned by the EGET Foundation, with an ecological and meticulous production approach. The silver medal won at a competition held in Italy once again demonstrates the international quality standards of Muğla olive oil.
In the competition, jury members evaluate the products using a blind tasting method without brand or origin information. The silver medal shows that the olive oil successfully meets superior quality criteria.
Eighth International Success
The awards EGET has received since 2020 in Japan, London, Muğla, and most recently Italy, demonstrate its continued consistency in high-quality production and once again prove the suitability of Muğla olives for world-class production.
