Uzman stated that they fulfill the testing and certification obligations of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry not only in olive oils but also in all products, especially cosmetics, and that they offer their products to consumers with confidence.
“A circle of goodness extending from Muğla to the world”
Emphasizing that receiving an award in Muğla after international successes holds special meaning for them, Özlem Uzman said, “Winning an award in Muğla, historically one of the centers of olive oil production, is a source of pride. I would like to thank our Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, those who organized the competition, our experts who contributed to the production, our farmers, and our workers.”
Referring to EGET Foundation's work in the fields of education and environment, Uzman stated that they provide scholarships to young people all over Turkey and shared the following information:
“As a foundation based in Muğla, receiving an award at home added to our happiness. We are working to further develop the circle of goodness extending from Muğla to Turkey, Europe, and the world. Our project, ‘Holistic Environmental Education: From Education to Action,’ prepared within the scope of the Interreg NEXT MED Program, one of the most prestigious environmental programs of the European Union, is successfully continuing.”
EGET's goal is to increase both quality and social benefit.
EGET officials stated that while continuing to raise quality standards in production, the income generated will continue to be used in education and social projects. It was stated that the work carried out within the foundation aims to contribute to the educational lives of young people in particular.
