WE ARE GETTING TO KNOW HEİRLOOM SEEDS

Nature is a giant book with a story to tell us all... We opened the most precious page of that book with tiny hands.

Today's lesson is about heirloom seeds. But this time, not in the classroom, but in the very heart of life. With our little friends in the 3rd grade, we talked about what an 'heirloom seed' means and how a seedling comes to life.

When their hands touched the soil, that initial curiosity gave way to a deep connection.

They experienced what it means to provide a home for a living thing, to nurture it; how touching the soil improves life.

We entrusted them with heirloom seed seedlings. That is, the oldest friends of this land, carrying within them centuries of sun, rain, and bounty…

A child who grows up touching the soil will make the world a much more beautiful place. As the EGET Foundation, we continue to nurture the future with love.
