THE FIRST STEP IN NATURE-BASED LEARNING: WORM COMPOST AND SEED WORKSHOPS

As part of our ecological education efforts aimed at raising environmentally conscious generations, we have taken the first steps in our collaboration with Muğla Technology College (MTK College).

In the training sessions we conducted for primary school students, we provided both theoretical and practical training on "Worm Compost and the Life of Worms" to 1st and 2nd grade students. For 3rd and 4th grade students, we organized workshops titled "The Arrival of Spring and Seed Balls," celebrating the awakening of nature. Through these activities, children had the opportunity to learn about the workings of nature in a fun way.

We conducted these activities under the guidance of Necla Dal, an agricultural engineer from our Foundation's Economic Enterprise. The curiosity and excitement shown by the students as they discovered the importance of worms in nature gave us hope.

We sincerely thank all the students, teachers, and school administration who joined us on this beautiful journey that we started with the arrival of spring.

We will continue to connect our children with nature, to learn and produce together.
