HACI LATIFLER HOUSE WILL CONTINUE TO BE THE HEADQUARTERS OF EGET FOUNDATION

Located in the heart of Muğla, the Hacı Latifler House, built in 1894, is a historic mansion distinguished by its stone and wood craftsmanship.

Restored to its original character by architect Safaî Özer, one of the founders of the EGET Foundation, the building has served as the EGET Foundation's headquarters since 2016.

With a garden of nearly one acre, the mansion is a space where our scholarship programs, educational activities, and ecological farming operations come to life.

With the new 10-year usage rights agreement we have signed, the Hacı Latifler House will continue to serve as the EGET Foundation's headquarters. Thanks to the support provided by the property owner, Mr. Ragıp Gürkan, we will be able to directly allocate our resources to our scholarships without the burden of rent expenses, and provide financial support to more students. While supporting our young people on their educational journey, the area we have organized as a Permaculture Garden will also contribute to the continuation of our education and nature-focused activities.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Mr. Ragıp Gürkan for his trust in the EGET Foundation and for this valuable contribution to education.

Hope for the youth, breath for nature.
