Members of the Board of Directors and Board of Trustees of the Education, Geriatrics, Ecological Agriculture, Tourism Foundation (EGET) 4. celebrated its anniversary. At EGET Foundation Headquarters, a coctail was organized to celebrate the foundation’s 4th year anniversary.

Together with EGET Foundation Board of Directors and members of the Board of Trustees, Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Cumhur Çoban, Menteşe Deputy Mayor Leyla Ersöz, Menteşe Deputy Mayor Levent Ünver, academics from various universities and citizens attended the anniversary cocktail.

At the EGET Foundation 4. anniversary celebration participants were served special sherbet and treats prepared from lavender produced by EGET Foundation.

Expressing that thirty-one students have been awarded scholarships and that they are proud of this, Özlem Uzman, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the EGET Foundation, said: “We established the EGET Foundation on July 25, 2015. We established it without caring about any negativity in the world and in our country, and moreover, we established it full of hope in spite of the negativity. We also knew that we would ensure the support of the masses. We are experiencing this once again here today. We have made very good friends. We are giving scholarships to thirty-one students with the help of our donors and our foundation’s own resources. We feel the justified pride of this. The Foundation’s Commercial Enterprise has a large truffle and lavender field. By using the oil and hydrosol of the lavender produced in the lavender field, we have proven that it is possible to establish businesses that produce cosmetic products in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Health. We would like to thank everyone who did not leave us alone on this day.”
