The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry included truffles in the Farmer Registration System for the first time and included their production within the scope of incentives. In Armutçuk Agricultural Enterprise, which has a total area of 22 acres, an agricultural initiative that will set an example for Turkey was launched and oak saplings inoculated with truffles, one of the most expensive foods in the world, were planted. The income from the truffles to be grown here by the EGET Foundation will be distributed to students as scholarships. The first harvest of the truffle, known as the “black diamond” in the world and known as the food of the rich, is planned to be harvested in Muğla in 2024.
