SUBGROUND LIFE AND WORM MANURE TRAINING

In accordance with the protocol signed between Muğla American Culture College and our Foundation and Economic Enterprise, we have completed the first of the ecological agriculture training series that we will hold in the 2023-2024 academic year.

Our first training on ‘Creatures Living Under the Soil and Worm Casting’, 3-4-5. It was provided to 1st grade students by our Agricultural Engineer Necla Dal.

All students had the pleasure of learning and having fun in the training we held at the EGET Foundation Headquarters Permaculture Garden. Students will learn about the damage chemical fertilizers cause to soil, air and water; They learned how important natural fertilizers are for both the environment and human health. They experienced how to return organic waste from their homes to nature by preparing compost.

At the end of the training, the book titled ‘I am Worm Aysen’, a publication of the EGET Foundation and written and drawn by our Founder Painter Safai, was given to the students as a gift. Students read the words ‘I am a friend of nature and people’ on the last page of the book. Please protect and protect me. Wishing for a world without poisoning, I offer my love to all of you.’ They all sang the sentence in unison with enthusiasm.
