Olive oil becomes a scholarship
The Education Geriatrics Ecological Agriculture Tourism Foundation (EGET), which operates in Muğla, provides scholarships to students with a portion of the income from the sale of olive oil it buys from local people.
The Education Geriatrics Ecological Agriculture Tourism Foundation (EGET), which operates in Muğla, provides scholarships to students with a portion of the income from the sale of olive oil it buys from local people. Stating that they have provided scholarship support to more than a hundred students so far, EGET President Özlem Uzman said, “This year we are providing scholarships to 48 students. We are taking planned steps to provide scholarships to thousands of students in the future.”
Award-winning brand from competitions
Uzman added that they launched olive oil under the brand name “EGET Kuzluk” and said, “Our brand won a silver medal at Olive Japan 2020, one of the world’s prestigious competitions. We also won a gold medal in the Natural Extra Virgin Olive Oil Quality Competition of Muğla Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry.”
