EGET FOUNDATION 7. TRADITIONAL LAVENDER HARVEST FESTIVAL ATTRACTED GREAT INTEREST

EGET Foundation organized the seventh edition of the traditional festivities this year, providing the participants with pleasant hours of entertainment. The festival, which took place on August 12-13, 2023 at EGET Foundation’s 22,000 square meter truffle and lavender enterprise located in Armutçuk, Ula, Muğla, attracted great interest from the participants this year.

The event, which has been expanded every year, included a wide range of workshops for children and adults, and guests enjoyed harvesting lavender with their own hands. Guests also had the opportunity to observe the Perseid Meteor Shower, as it coincided with the same dates.

Seed Ball Workshop, Movement Training and Coordination Skills Workshop, Compost Making Workshop for Plants with Kitchen Waste, Drama and Interactive Storytelling Workshop, Olive Oil Tasting Workshop, Essential Oil Extraction and Home Uses Workshop, Workshops such as Bee Recognition and Natural Candle Workshop, Fabric and Egg Dyeing Workshop with Plants, Sky Atlas Making Workshop, Natural Control of Plant Pests Workshop, Breathing and Yoga Workshop with Ahu allowed the guests to have informative and peaceful moments in nature. The event ended with the Alp Özdoğan concert on Sunday, August 13th.
