ECOLOGICAL EDUCATION FOR TAC COLLEGE STUDENTS AT EGET FOUNDATION PERMACULTURE GARDEN

In the training we held with the kindergarten students of Muğla Amerikan Kültür Koleji in the Permaculture Garden of EGET Foundation Headquarters, students enjoyed learning with fun.

Accompanied by the explanations of Agricultural Engineer Necla Dal, the students not only saw vegetables such as broad bean leaves, dill, parsley, spring onions, radishes and lettuce, but also picked the vegetables themselves and prepared the salad. They learned about the uses of the plants we grow in our permaculture garden without using any chemicals. While harvesting the vegetables, they encountered butterflies, snails and ladybugs. They touched ripe strawberries and carrot leaves and observed the harvest.
